More About this Video:

As Peter and John approached the man, he asked them for alms (a donation to his cause). Peter asked the man to look at him. The man looked at them and expected them to give him food or money. Peter told the man that he didn’t have any food or money, but he would give him what he had. Then Peter said, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6). Then the man got up and leapt for joy and danced around and entered the temple with them.

So, as we see, a man who was ill was healed by Peter and John. The question that one might ask is, does that type of spiritual healing happen today? It does. Those who hold the priesthood of God can lay their hands on the sick or afflicted and they can be healed. For this to happen, there has to be faith involved. Faith in Jesus Christ and the power of His redemption. If you’d like, you can request of visit from the missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to learn more.
