Jesus and his apostles were in a ship crossing to the other side of the Sea of Galilee. Jesus, was sleeping on the ship when a storm came upon the Sea. Although the storm raged, Jesus, ever master and in control of His mind and His body, amazingly continued to sleep during the storm. His apostles became fearful and woke Him up saying, “Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Jesus then “arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea” and spoke the powerful but calming words “Peace, be still.”
